In 2008, CasaSito began working with a new association located near San Mateo Milpas Altas, Sacatepequez. The founder, Blanca Lysmenia Flores Cortés, set up this association in order to improve the living conditions and educational opportunities of the young people and the mothers in the village.
Since the program began, more than 200 people have participated in their courses: English course, typing classes, and reinforcement classes for primary school students, chicken farm project, vegetable garden project, and workshops for mothers.
Volunteers are needed for their programs; please send an e-mail to info@casasito.org
